The Book of Mormon is the
Keystone of Our Religion
Sisters and Elders,
During this transfer period leading up to General Conference, we will emphasize the Book of Mormon and its role in the conversion of souls. Combined with the Spirit, the Book of Mormon is the most powerful resource in conversion. I encourage you to re read Chapter Five of Preach My Gospel and make reading from the Book of Mormon part of your daily personal scripture study. Charles McQuinn (our former stake president) would always include the admonition "Read from the Book of Mormon every day for the rest of your life...without missing a day" in any talk he gave over the 9 years that he served. Great words to follow.
Transfers are always emotional for Sister Felix and me. We love each of you and to say goodbye to so many challenges our heartstrings which is relieved only by receiving new missionaries to love and to serve. We truly love each and every one of you.
As you prepare for the transfer process, take a few moments to clean out your apartments and free them from anything that is not yours and and also please don't leave your own unwanted items. Talk to Elder Floyd if there are repairs that need to be addressed.
We hope that you enjoy this Preparation Day. Be safe in your activities and enjoy non-competitive activities.
With love and appreciation for all that you do,
President and Sister Felix
